Spring cleaning
We're doing a bit of sping cleaning to our network at the moment. We've already taken out about a dozen sites from the list as well as taking them offline.
Don't worry though - none of the sites we are dropping are ones you would ever want to visit. We're just clearing out the ones nobody uses.
Worfolk Design
Worfolk Design has just launched giving a homepage to our design team. It also has a downloadable WordPress theme and we hope to add more in the future.
New alerts system implemented
We have now implemented a new alerts system that will let out team now as soon as we detect that our central server has gone offline so that they can get to work on solving the issue.
Hopefully this should dramatically reduce the amount of downtime on the sever.
Minor server outage
Our server was down between 8:17 and 8:27 this morning. Luckily we managed to catch the problem almost immediately and restore it within 10 minutes.
True Suburbia server move complete
We moved with some minor problems on Wednesday so by now the changes should have propogated accross the internet and everything appears to be working fine.

True Suburbia server move
Due to recent problems with the mail server that the server True Suburbia is running on (which serves many of the email accounts used by us) we are moving True Suburbia to a different server.
The move will begin taking place within the next hour and should not result in any downtime but during the switch there may be a delay in us recieving mail and so the time taken to reply could be increased.
Web server down
Last night our web server was taken offline by abuse caused by an insecure script being run by a client on the server.
The account has now been suspended and the web server has now been brought back online.
Blog launches
Yes, we have finally given in and added a blog to the site. It's mainly so we can post updates about network outages, planned downtime, activities going on in the network and so forth.
Our network
Over the past decade, we have operated almost 300 different websites, delivering hundreds of thousands of page views per month.
